I guess almost everybody must be mugging hard now.
Maybe the JC2's are taking a short break now.
Whatever it is, I wish everybody all the best in whatever exams you are taking.
I just remembered that I have not uploaded those photos I took during senior farewell!!! I will upload them as soon as I can.
The Eclectic DVD plus a bonus CD are ready for collection. For $4 you get 2 enjoyable discs. Only Angklung Ensemble members get such a treat.
Mr Fuad will inform you all when to collect the discs. Collection date should be near JC2 farewell assembly.

Wow Fuad that was an interesting story! Thanks Fuad for teaching me so much. If you know nuts about notes, I know nuts about notes and managing a CCA!
When I arrived in NJC in May last year, I wondered what kind of experience I will have here. I am glad to say that the overall experience has been enriching.
This is because I have met students who have taught me the meaning of passion and the desire to succeed. Instead of me having to motivate students, students motivate me. I'm by nature sluggish, but meeting the JC2's in Angklung really perks me up.
When I joined NJC, I was asked what kind of CCA I would like to join. I chose nothing, because I wanted to test my luck and NJC didn't have the CCA I had in my JC.
When I received the CCA-teacher list in July, I was very surprised that I was placed in a music group CCA when I never learned how to play an instrument in my life. I was worried about how I was going to manage, but luckily, I met students who were super-motivated and inspirational.
Now whenever relatives and friends ask me what CCA I'm in, they are always surprised that I'm in Angklung. It's like Angklung and me don't fit. Even students are shocked that my CCA is Angklung. When I told 05S01, who I taught last year, what my CCA was, their bewilderment and surprise was very evident.
Now, whoever hitches a ride in my car will see that Esplanade pass with my name and the words "NJC Angklung Ensemble Artiste" hanging from the windscreen mirror. It's my way of saying how proud I am of this CCA and of course, to save myself the trouble of answering the same boring questions.
I still have to handle the surprise though!
Happy Teachers' Day!
