Welcome to NJC Angklung Ensemble's blog! :)

We are a group of carefree students who have gathered together,
regardless of bawahs, normals, atas, kulintang and percussions
to create music like none other with our conductor, Mr Dzul. :D

i'm finally back online! =) hooray! btw, the syf photos were sent to the j2s via snail mail as mentioned by kok hsien! if you don't have it, pls leave a tag at one of the exco's blogs, we'll get back to you asap!

today was our cca induction/games for the j1s. it feels so weird being j2 now... anw, we had quite a lot of fun [at least i thought so myself] and i hoped it was enriching for the j1s to learn more abt their seniors [who despite popular opinion are not BORING] and for the j1s to familiarise yourself with our playing technique.

it was so heartening to see everyone picking up their angklungs today and learning how to read the angklung score [even if it was really simple and basic] in just under 1 hr! =) so amazing, is it not?

hope we see more of them!

juniors, pls urge your friends to join; CCA's always more fun when you know pple in it. it's what make CCA so memorable; not something you dread gg to twice wkly. believe me when i say this, i know many pple who just can't stand the thought of gg for CCA 'cos they don't ike the pple there.

seniors, you really put up a gd show today. thanks for coming early everyone! =) and also for being the lovable, enthu lot you are. angklung wldn't be as fun w/o all of your teasing, friend jeering and jokes! thank you all for a wonderful session today and i hope this will continue for our subsequent pracs!
