We are a group of carefree students who have gathered together,
regardless of bawahs, normals, atas, kulintang and percussions
to create music like none other with our conductor, Mr Dzul. :D

Hi everyone....hope that the PW presentation has been good to you guys. Guess what...the SYF schedule is already out and it will be in April and will be at Singapore Conference Hall. The exact date will be given in January next year.

We will try to book a slot at Singapore Conference Hall so that we can practice and have a feel of the place before the actual day. As of now, you have nothing to worry cos Mr Dzul has experience conducting at that place and with the excellent acoustic, I'm sure Yr 2007 will bring out the best in each of us.

Enough said, holiday is approaching soon. We will only be having practices till end of November. If you ask around, there are many CCAs already in preparation for the SYF and will be making use of the Dec holiday to truly brush up their SYF pieces so that by next year, they will be ready to put up an excellent error free performance. As for us, we will be taking a much deserved break this time round. For those who are going back to Indon, don't forget to check out the kebaya ok. For those going to Tianjin, enjoy your trip, I was planning to include Angklung in the trip next yr to Tianjin so as to introduce Angklung to them. See how it goes.

As for the rest, use this time wisely to either catch up with your loved ones, or to find love!!For those that are lacking behind in their studies, please use this time wisely yto truly catch up on your lose time and make sure when the year start, you are ahead of the others as next year is going to be so busy that you would not have time to even revise your work!!

So, I hope to see everyone during this last few practices for the year. Let's end the year with a good feeling of the songs that we are performing next year. Mr Dzul had put in loads of effort in ensuring the pieces that we play will bring out the best in us so it's up to you guys to do just that.

For the excos, do plan something for the end of the year ie last practice function or something. Check out with the Yr 2 whether they have anymore papers on the 29 Nov if not we can arrange for a get together after our last practice session for the year.

ps: please feel free to update this blog. After 7 years in Angklung, this blog has truly bring me very much closer to the members and I'm sure the seniors will agree to this too....I'm talking about even the senior's seniors are visiting this blog to keep up with what we are doing.
